Shot Blocker

The shot blocker is a small tool designed to help reduce discomfort during injections by gently distracting nerve signals around the injection site.

How to Use:

  1. Clean the Injection Area
Use an alcohol wipe to clean the skin as directed by your clinic.

  2. Position the Shot Blocker
Place the shot blocker firmly against the skin so the small textured bumps are touching the injection area.

  3. Align the Opening
The center opening allows space for the needle. Position this opening where your injection will go.

  4. Administer the Injection
While holding the shot blocker steady against the skin, insert the needle through the center opening and complete the injection as instructed by your clinic.

  5. Remove and Dispose
Remove the shot blocker after the injection and dispose of the needle according to your clinic’s instructions.

Helpful Tip:

Many surrogates find it helpful to apply gentle pressure with the shot blocker for a few seconds before injecting to help the skin adjust.
